Privacy Policy
Effective September 26, 2026
This policy explains what Ad Venture Holdings LLC, which runs Videos That Sell ("we"), collects when you use Videos That Sell (the "Service"), why, who sees it, and your choices. It's written to be read.
1. Who we are
Ad Venture Holdings LLC, 3422 Old Capitol Trail, Suite 700, Wilmington, DE 19808, is the controller of the personal data described here. Privacy questions: peter@adventure.holdings.
2. What we collect
- Account data: your name, email, and password (stored securely by our sign-in provider, never in plain text). If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email and profile picture from Google, and nothing else.
- Inputs: the links you paste, what you type or say about your product or service, the photos found on your page or that you give us, and the changes you ask for.
- Outputs: your marketing briefs, desires, video ideas, drafts, pictures and videos, and which ones you approve.
- Payments: handled by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number. We keep a record of the money you add and spend.
- Usage and device data: which steps you visit and when, where you came from (for example, which ad or link), your answers to short questions we ask, IP address, browser type, and standard server logs.
- Support: what you send us when you contact us.
Market research the Service reads (such as public product listings and public customer reviews of similar products) is public information, not your personal data.
Talking instead of typing. When you tap the microphone, your browser turns your speech into text using its own speech service (for example Google's or Apple's). We receive only the text.
3. Why we use it (and our legal bases)
- To provide the Service: writing your brief, ideas and scripts, making your videos, keeping them in your account, and support. (Performance of our contract with you.)
- To bill you and prevent fraud and abuse. (Contract; legitimate interests.)
- To run, secure and improve the Service: fixing problems, planning capacity, and making it easier to use. (Legitimate interests.)
- To communicate: account and service messages always; marketing only with your consent or where the law allows, with an unsubscribe link in every message. (Consent; legitimate interests.)
- To comply with law and respond to lawful requests. (Legal obligation.)
We do not sell your personal data and we do not use your Inputs or Outputs to train AI models.
4. Who we share it with
Only providers that help us run the Service, each bound to use the data only for that purpose:
- AI generation: fal.ai and the models it serves (including models from Anthropic for writing, and image and video models such as FLUX and Seedance) receive the text, instructions and product photos needed to make your Outputs.
- Market research: the sources we search for public product listings and reviews receive search terms about your type of product, not your identity.
- Sign-in: Supabase (accounts) and, if you use it, Google.
- Payments: Stripe.
- Hosting and storage: Vercel, Railway and Supabase.
- Legal: authorities where the law requires, and a successor in a merger or sale, who must honor this policy.
5. International transfers
We are based in the United States, and our providers may process data in the US and elsewhere. Where the law requires, we use approved safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) for transfers.
6. How long we keep it
Account data: while you have an account and for up to 24 months after, unless the law requires longer. Inputs and Outputs: while your account is active; deleted on request or 90 days after your account closes. Logs: up to 12 months. Payment records: as long as tax law requires.
7. Security
Encryption in transit and at rest, access limited to people who need it, agreements with our providers, and monitoring. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects you, we will tell you as the law requires.
8. Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your personal data, to object to or restrict how we use it, to withdraw consent, and to complain to a data protection authority. California residents have the rights described in the CCPA/CPRA; we do not sell or share personal data for cross-context advertising, and we will not treat you differently for using your rights. To use any of these rights, including deleting your account and videos, email peter@adventure.holdings. We verify requests and respond within the time the law sets.
9. Cookies and browser storage
We use your browser's storage to keep you signed in, remember your choices (like which product you were working on), and count visits to each step anonymously. We do not use advertising trackers or cross-site tracking. If that changes (for example, to measure our own ads), we will update this policy first.
10. Google sign-in
If you sign in with Google, we use your Google name, email and profile picture only to create your account and sign you in. We don't access your Gmail, contacts, files, calendar or anything else in your Google account. Our use of information received from Google follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
11. Children
The Service is for adults and businesses. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18; if we learn we have, we delete it.
12. Changes
We'll post changes here with a new effective date and email account holders about important changes.
